AgAnswers is a helpful tool that allows AgFuse members to ask questions and receive answers from the community. Do you have a question about cover crops? How about manure sampling, planter maintenance, or bookkeeping? You can use AgAnswers to publish a question and to request an answer from top experts in related fields. Here’s a quick look at how to get started.
Ask a Question
To ask a question about any topic related to agriculture, simply locate the Quick Post panel and click “Question.”
In the Question field, you can enter the question that you want to be answered. In the optional Description field, you can enter some additional context and details if desired. Then, select up to three categories — such as “Soil Health,” “Cotton,” and “Sustainable Agriculture” — so that your question gets properly categorized on the platform.
Based on your preferences, you can use the “Viewable By” field to adjust the visibility setting for your question.
- To post publicly, select “Everyone.”
- To have your question be visible to your followers only, select “Followers.”
- To ask your question in a specific group, select “Group Members” and then the group of your choice such as “Cover Crops.”
- To post a question anonymously so that it’s not associated with your AgFuse profile, check the “Ask Anonymously” box.
After you’ve posted a question, you can request answers from top experts within the AgFuse community.
Answer a Question
To answer someone else’s question, simply visit the question page and click “Answer Question.” You’ll then see a pop-up box, which you can use to share your expertise and thoughts.
